ADVICE
Ensure that you have a firm stance when installing your pod drive. Connect the
accelerator lever and the batteries only after installing the drive into the boat.
5.1 Installation of the drive to the boat
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from heavy loads.
Physical injury can result.

Do not lift the Cruise system on your own; use suitable lifting gear.
CAUTION!
Damage to the boat and system if the motor is installed when the boat is in
the water!
Material damage can result.

Only install the motor on land.
ADVICE
We recommend that the 10 FP TorqLink system be installed/removed only by a
trained boat builder.
ADVICE
The drilled holes in the boat’s hull may weaken the hull structure. This must
be compensated for by additional ribs, stringers, or other reinforcements.
Depending on the propeller used, the Cruise 10.0 FP can provide a thrust force
of up to 2400 N.
ADVICE
We recommend the additional use of a zinc sacrificial anode. Comply with
country-specific regulations. The land connection must match the state of the

The application of any type of anti-fouling agent to the motor is not permitted.
