Raising the Cargo Box to the Service
Position
1. Pull the lever on left, inside of the cargo box toward
you and lift the cargo box up (
Figure 11 ).
2. Pull prop rod into the service position detent slot,
securing the box for maintenance (
Figure 12 ).
Lowering the Cargo Box
WARNING
The weight of the box may be heavy. Hands or
other body parts could be crushed.
Keep hands and other body parts clear when
lowering the box.
1. Raise the cargo box slightly by lifting up on the latch
lever (
Figure 11 ).
2. Pull the prop rod out of the detent slot ( Figure 12 ).
3. Lower the box until it latches securely.
Opening the Tailgate
1. Ensure that the cargo box is down and latched.
2. Using both hands, raise the tailgate using the ridge near
the top of the tailgate (
Figure 13 ).
3. Lower the tailgate until it is flush with the bottom of
the cargo box (
Figure 13 ).
