Achieving test calls
It is recommended to make first some test call, for verifying if Voxell LCR equipment is operating
correctly.
For Voxell LCR connected to PBX trunk
Incoming call
Ring, from a mobile phone, to the number of SIM card used by Voxell LCR. The Interface
diverts the call and sends the ringing signal to trunk of PBX exchange. The operator answers and
transfers the call.
Outgoing call
The PBX exchange must be configured to route special outgoing numbers (for instance the
prefixes of mobile, such as 072x) towards the trunk assigned to Voxell LCR interface. Dial the
number of mobile network subscriber, the call will be sent from exchange to Voxell LCR, which
achieves the link over mobile network.
For Voxell LCR connected to PBX extension
Incoming call
Call, from a mobile phone, the number of the SIM used by Voxell LCR. The Topex interface
answers and retransmits the call to exchange. The PBX will provider the dial tone and you can call
the wanted local extension, or an outgoing number (see the chapter 5.6.). The PBX exchange
achieves the call.
Outgoing call
Call the extension of PBX where Voxell LCR is installed. The interface answers and depending
on your configuration you will hear the dial tone or nothing.
Now dial the number wanted and Voxell LCR makes the connection.
