Configuring an Internet connection under Windows XP
6.1.1
The installation of USB driver
Before you plug the USB cable connected to Voxell LCR into the PC, you should install the USB
driver. Do not let the operating system detect automatically new hardware equipment, install it
yourself. For this, insert the CD-ROM supplied by Topex into the drive and start the application
„PL-2303 Driver Installer.exe”. This may be found in the folder called „Driver_USB”.
Now you have finished the procedure of USB driver installation.
Note
: The same driver for USB is also needed for connecting the OAM application to the Voxell
LCR equipment. The OAM program is used for configuring and managing Voxell LCR, and also to
send or receive SMS. Thus, even if you use Voxell LCR only for voice and SMS applications, you
must still install the USB driver. Remember the number of the COM port that was used for the
USB connection.
