Create a new “Connect to” entry and name it, for instance TopexVoIPGateway.
Then select the COM port where you
have connected the serial cable, like
COM1 in the example sown here:
Set the initial communication parameters for the serial link.
Bits per second: 115200 bps or leave
the default rate
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: none
