You can set the following options on your phone.
DSS
– converts Call Appearance keys to Direct Station Selection keys
with busy lamp indication for one-button speed dialing of stations that
are monitored by your phone (page 34).
Clock
– sets the time-of-day clock. The clock is used for the time and
date display, and for time stamping calls in the call log (page 55).
Speed Dial
– sets up spare keys for one-button speed dialing of
frequently-called numbers (page 35).
Feature Activators with Speed Dial
– sets up spare keys for one-
button dialing of features such as Call Forward or Directed Call Pickup,
with a preselected destination (page 35).
Call Directory
– sets up the display-based speed dialing directory
(page 57).
Personal Ringing
Ringing Tone
– selects a distinct ringing tone for your telephone,
to distinguish it from other nearby ringing telephones (page 59).
Off-hook Ringing
– selects single burst or normal ringing when
you are on a call (page 59).
Ringing Control
– controls audible ringing for individual call
appearances (page 60).
Call Preference
– controls automatic call appearance selection and
automatic call answering when you go off-hook (page 61).
Voice Mode
Handset/Headset Mode
– selects handset or headset operation
(page 62).
Preset Volume Levels
– sets handset and headset volume levels
(page 62).
Display Contrast
– adjusts the contrast of the display for best visibility
(page 63).
Call Log Password
– sets or removes a password to control entry into
the call log (page 64).
Voice Announce
– enables or disables automatic call answering by
the speakerphone (page 40).
