Servicing Instructions
5.1. HEPA FFU Servicing

MAC 10 Original VE5 FAN FILTER MODULE INSTALLATION AND SERVICE MANUAL
for more
detailed instructions.
5.1.1. Removing the HEPA FFU from the Roof
1. To remove the HEPA FFU from the top of the enclosure, follow the same process as in section 3.7, but in
reverse.
2. Reinstall following the same process as in section 3.7.
5.2. Removing Push Rivets
This can be done by lifting the head of the rivet with a flat head screw driver or similar tool.
5.3. Cleaning the Curtain Strips
Clean the PVC strip by wiping them down with a soft cloth using water and a mild detergent.
Do not submerged the strips in water for too long as this might cause them to temporarily go cloudy. If the
strips do go cloudy, they will go clear again when they ‘dry out’.
Do not use an abrasive cloth or scouring substance.
Do not use any type of solvent based product.
