Parameter P16:
LIM ADDR
This Parameter is:

To each temperature controller Zone a heat tracing cable temperature limiter Zone can be assigned. Accord-
ing to the EN 50 014 standard for electrical equipment in hazardous area the limiter Zone needs to be utilised
by a separate electronic controller. Within the TC 816 multi circuit temperature controller concept that can be
any other TC 816 controller set up as a heat tracing cable temperature limiter (see chapter 1.1.3).
With parameter P16 the communication address (
LIM ADDR
) of the heat tracing cable temperature lim-
iter is set. In case no limiter Zone is assigned to the controller Zone the
LIM ADDR
is set to “0”.
Adjustment thresholds: 0...30
Default value:
0 (no limiter Zone assigned)
