Operation Manual 0503 E TC 816
4.2.6
Parameter P06:
OP MODE
This Parameter is:
•
Valid for Temperature Controller Zones
- Zones 1 through 16
- unit in: not applicable
•
Valid for Limiter Zones
- Zones 1 through 16, possibly of different TC 816 unit on same data communication bus
- unit in: not applicable
•
Valid for Current Zones
- Zones 17 through 32
- unit in: not applicable
Parameter P06 allows the maintenance team of the end user to change the operation mode per Zone.
Set
OP MODE
to “
disable Zone operation
” in case:
•
An alarm occurred and the heat tracing circuit under maintenance and the MCB is switched off. This
avoids current or low temperature alarms, during maintenance of that particular circuit.
Set
OP MODE
to “
manual operation
” in case:
•
A sensor alarm occurred, but the heat tracing should continue to heat, while the sensor is being discon-
nected for replacement.
•
Manual operation is required in order to check actuator operation.
Set
OP MODE
to “
automatic operation
” in case:
•
Automatic temperature is required (normal operation mode)
Adjustment thresholds: 0 =
Disable Zone operation
1 =
Manual operation, the TC 816 gives the power output set in
parameter P07
MAN OUTP
2 =
Automatic operation
Default value:
2
Note:
During operation mode “0” (disabled Zone operation) the high alarm supervision of the applicable
Zone will remain enabled, unless the reference set point in the circuit display is set to 0.
Operation mode “1” (manual operation) is not applicable for current Zones 17 through 32.
