S2.1 PROTECTION OF MAX.
COLLECTORS TEMPERA-
TURE
When the temperature in the storage tank is higher than the set
point temperature plus hysteresis (P1.10), heating with the
collectors stops. If then the collector temperature exceeds
maximum temperature (P2.2), the solar pump switches on again
until collectors are cooled down to the maximum temperature
(P2.2) plus hysteresis (P1.18).
In case the storage tank exceeds the maximum temperature
(P2.4), the solar pump stops unconditionally.

S2.2 PUMP KICK FUNCTION
Special algorithm activates the solar pump to switch -on for short
intervals. This way you get realistic temperature of collectors.
This function is used especially with vacuum (tube) collectors.
This function is also possible with classic collectors if the sensor
is fitted outside of the collector body. Circualtion pump is activa-
ted every 15 minutes and runs for setted time.

S2.3 COLLECTOR’S FROST
PROTECTION
If the temperature drops bellow the set point value (P2.18), the
solar pump switches -on to prevent freezing in the collectors and
pipelines.
NOTE: This setting is suitable only for climates areas where the
temperature only occasionally drops bellow the freezing point.

S2.4 STORAGE TANK LOA-
DING PRIORITY
In a system with two or more storage tanks, you set the order of
loading priority.

S2.5 LOWER-PRIORITY TANK
LOADING ON-PERIOD
Setting the ON-period.
If the following conditions occur, loading of a lower-priority stora-
ge tank is periodically switched ON and OFF: System is loading a
lower-priority storage tank; higher-priority storage tank is not
heated to required temperature; temperature difference between
collectors and the higher-priority storage tank is less than
SWITCH-ON DIFFERENCE (set in P1 settings). By switching
OFF the lower-priority tank loading, the temperature of collectors
can rise and the controller can check if the SWITCH-ON DIFFE-
RENCE condition for the higher-priority tank is met to start its
loading. This way the controller can redirect the solar energy
from the lower-priority tank to the higher-priority tank even if the
collector temperature is significantly decreased by loading the
cold lower-priority tank.

S2.6 STORAGE TANK LOAD-
ING - STANDBY PERIOD
Setting the OFF-period.
During this period the controller is checking if the collector tempe-
rature rises 2K or more. If the temperature rise has been achi-
eved, the controller is again waiting for the same period for
another temperature rise of min. 2K. This is repeated until the
SWITCH-ON DIFFERENCE for the higher-priority tank is achi-
eved, and loading of the higher-priority tank starts. Or until the
required 2K temperature rise is not achieved in the given period,
and loading of the lower-priority tank continues (for period set in
S2.5).

S2.7 RECOOLING OF STORA-
GE TANK 1
Means that storage tank 1, if heated above the set-point tempe-
rature, can be forcibly cooled down to the set-point temperature.
Cooling is achieved by means of collectors and pipe installation.

S2.8 RECOOLING OF STORA-
GE TANK 2
Means that storage tank 2, if heated above the set-point tempe-
rature, can be forcibly cooled down to the set-point temperature.
Cooling is achieved by means of collectors and pipe installation.
