Operation

Rotor Temperature Equilibration

Sorvall RC 3BP Plus

Thermo Scientific

If heating, input a value that is approximately 70% of the maximum rated speed of the selected
rotor.

6. Press the

to select a continuous run.

7. Press the

and enter the desired temperature.

8. Press the

to begin temperature equilibration.

9. The centrifuge will alert you that a sample overtemperature condition exists, and that pre-cooling

is taking place. Press the

key.

10. Monitor progress of the value in the RUN TEMPERATURE display. Note the time when the

displayed RUN temperature reaches the SET temperature. From the time it does, allow the run to
continue for additional 30 minutes, then press the

key.
