Set Display

the current measured rotor speed (in rpm) or,
•
the RCF value that is currently being generated at the maximum radius of the selected rotor. RCF
indicator is lit.
After the run the run display shows the message
END
until the door is opened.
Time field
The speed field indicates either:
•
the remaining time,
•
the time elapsed, or
•
the calculated ACE value (Accumulated Centrifugal Effect™). ACE indicator is lit.
Temperature field
The temperature field indicates the current calculated sample temperature in° C. The centrifuge
assumes that the temperature of sample, rotor, and centrifuge are equal at the start of the run.
Set Display
The set display is used:
•
to input and display basic run parameters,
•
to select options or other advanced features, and
•
to display advisory messages.
•
The set display shows the currently selected rotor, values for speed, temperature, time, and the
number of the program if a recalled program is used.
•
After pressing the
key to access advanced feature options, pressing the
key again exits the
options and returns to the set display.
Primary Function Keys
The primary function keys are the keys below the set display. They allow a direct access to basic run
parameter controls.
Press the
key to enter the rotor selection.
Press the
key to enter the speed or RCF selection.
Press the
key to select continuous run.
Press the key
in order to enter the time selection menu.
Press the
key to specify an ACE value.
Press the
key to specify a temperature.
