TEMP
•
Press the
key to change the set temperature of the sample (° C).
•
The sample temperature is calculated by the centrifuge during a run with the messured actual
values. The calculation assumes that the sample temperature, rotor assembly temperature, and set
temperature are all equal at the start of the run (as they must be any time that temperature control
is critical).
RECALL
•
Press the
key to access program memory. Recall a program by entering a number from 1-9.
•
The set values can be modified without fear of damaging the saved program. In order to modify or
replace a program you need to access the option by pressing the
key.
TIME
•
Press the
key to specify a length of a run (minutes and seconds, to a maximum of 99:59). In the
run display, minutes and seconds begin to count down.
•
The run terminates when the timer reaches zero. Now the deceleration of the rotor begins.
HOLD
•
Press the
key to start a continuous run. The run terminates when you press the
key. During
a continuous run the set dispaly shows the message
HOLD
and
ELAPSED
. The time passed since the
key has been pressed is shown in the run display.
•
The timer will accumulate up to 99 minutes 59 seconds - if a run continues beyond that, the
displayed run time will remain fixed at 99:59. Whenever it is possible for such an extended run to
occur, an external timing method is recommended.
ACE
•
Press the
key to define the ACE (Accumulated Centrifugal Effect™). The ACE can be
reproduced and does not depend on the load.
•
When ACE control is selected, the centrifuge calculates the effect of speed in relation to time (the
shaded area in the illustration below). The run duration accounts for acceleration variation.
