Phillips screwdriver
Slotted screwdriver
Labeling materials
Materials:
CPU board (R&P P/N 50-002407)
Interface board (R&P P/N 50-005496)
Static-shielded bag
Follow these steps to remove the interface/CPU board assembly from
the sampler:
1) Turn the instrument off and disconnect the unit’s power cord from
its AC source.
2) Remove the three screws and open the electronics compartment
door (Figure 3-1).
3) Remove all wires and cables connected to the interface and CPU
boards.
NOTE: While removing cables, be sure to label each connector with its location
for easy re-assembly.
4) Remove the 1/8-inch silicone rubber hose from the pressure
transducer on the right side of the interface board.
5) Locate the screws that secure the assembly to the floor of the
electronics compartment. Remove the screws.
6) Lift up the assembly approximately 2 inches from the floor of the
electronics compartment and remove it from the compartment.
7) Place the boards assembly in a static-shielded bag.
Follow these steps to install the interface/CPU board assembly into the
sampler:
1) Position the board assembly over the standoffs on the floor of the
electronics compartment.
2) Replace the screws and secure the assembly to the floor of the
electronics compartment.
3) Replace the 1/8-inch silicone rubber hose from the pressure
transducer on the right side of the interface board.
4) Replace all wires and cables connected to the CPU and interface
boards. Be sure to follow the location labels that you made earlier
when you removed the cables.
