Timer Settings
Introduction
The timer function allows the user to define specific times when the HistoStar will be used.
This allows the software to pre-heat / pre-cool the relevant sections of the instrument, so that they are ready for
use at a given time.
It also turns off areas of the instrument at given times.
The timer allows individual programs to be defined for all 7 days of the week.
There is also the option to disable the timer function on specific days if required.
For the cold module to be controlled by the timer function, the timer control lead must be connected and the
timer control switch on the cold module must be set to the 'Timer' position - see Connections.
Setting the Timer
To define the timer settings:
• Press the 'Timer' button in the Main Menu.
