P0217 Engine Coolant Over Temperature Condition
Coolant temperature is 100 °C [212 °F] or
higher.
The engine speed is limited to 2000 min
-1
[rpm].
The temperature warning light illuminates.
Cooling system
► An insufficient coolant level or leaks can
cause the fault. Check the coolant circuit.
► Sediments or leaks in the sea water cooling
circuit can cause the fault. Check the sea
water cooling circuit.
► Check the cylinder head gasket.
► A permanently close or stuck thermostat
can cause the fault. Check the thermostat.

P0222 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B"
Circuit Low
Open circuit or short circuit to ground at part or
wire harness.
Unusual or no throttle response.
Throttle body
► Check wiring in the wire harness to the
affected part. (See chapter 7 Wiring
diagram.)
► Replace the affected part. (See the repair
manual.)
P0223 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B"
Circuit High
Short circuit to plus at part or wire harness.
Unusual or no throttle response.
Throttle body
► Check wiring in the wire harness to the
affected part. (See chapter 7 Wiring
diagram.)
► Replace the affected part. (See the repair
manual.)
P0237 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit
Low
Open circuit or short circuit to ground at part or
wire harness.
Loss of power.
Sensor intercooler pressure
► Check wiring in the wire harness to the
affected part. (See chapter 7 Wiring
diagram.)
► Replace the affected part. (See the repair
manual.)
