All inputs can be used on the master. Operation
occurs via the control panel or the remote control for
the master.
The MASTER/COMPANION switch is set to MASTER on
the master and to LINE on all companions.
The master is set to MONO with the CH MODE switch
and it passes the mixed stereo signal to the first
companion via the XLR cable. The position of these
switches will be ignored on all companions.
The master’s LINE OUT output is connected to the
first companion’s LINE IN L input via XLR cable. The
first companion’s LINE OUT output is connected to
the LINE IN L input of the next companion and so on.
This way, up to four companions can be connected in
a cascade.
Once the volume on the companions has been initially
set, the volume and sound on the master will be
controlled. However, the volume of the companions
can be reduced via the master if, for example, the
dance area is to be supplied with louder sound than
the back part of the room.
