Special function buttons
“RESOLUTION” button
The “Resolution” button

has two functions:
1 . Zoom factor
You can change the zoom factor of the picture in this
order during video or image playback:
2x, 3x, 4x, 1/2x,
1/3x, 1/4x, 1x
2 . Screen resolution
From the main menu, you can configure the resolution of
the television set for HD playback with this button . Pos-
sible values:
480/576i, 480/586p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, HDMI-Auto .
HDMI-Auto automatically selects the highest possible
resolution for your television set .
Note:
Only a resolution of 480/576p is available at the
video output

Note
: This function is also helpful if no picture appears
after your television set was connected . Then push this
button until the main menu becomes visible – always
briefly wait until the TV has synchronised . Then you can
make additional settings .
