Basic functions

Sensor buttons

The buttons on the front of the receiver are illuminated 

sensor buttons: Lightly touching them will cause them to 

switch .

Activating and deactivating

•  With the button

to the operational or standby mode .

 is illuminated in red in standby .

Standby does not disconnect the device from the mains . 

Pull the mains plug out of the socket to completely deac-

tivate it .

Selecting a source

After turning the device on, the last used source device is 

selected .

•  With the “SRC” sensor button

, switch the source in 

the following order: 

HDMI 1, HDMI 2, COAXIAL, OPTIICAL, AUX, FM (FM 

radio), MAIN MENU .

•  Or switch the source with the direct select buttons:

The selected source is shown in the display panel

Playback of BD/DVD/CD, a USB stick or media server 

(DLNA) is started in the main menu under the item “My 

media” (see page 12) .

If you insert a CD, DVD or BluRay disc, it will start auto-

matically (see page 19) .

You can switch to the audio signal of the TV set with the 

button

 “TV/ARC” . Prerequisite: The receiver is con-

nected to an ARC-capable HDMI input of the TV, the TV's 

CEC function (that is, “Viera Link”, “”, “Simplink” 

or “Bravia Synch”) is activated just like the CEC function 

of the receiver (see page 14) . 

Adjusting the volume

•  Increase the volume: Turn the control

push the “Volume”

•  Decrease the volume: Turn the control
