Exhaust air is expelled outside building, while intake air is taken by the room.
Intake air rules:
Minimum room volume of 20m
3
must be
observed. It is obligatory to have an adequate room ventilation to the outside of the house! If these rules are not observed, the con
-
siderable drop in appliance’s performance will happen!
Exaust air rules:
When install exhaust air pipes, consider all rules described bellow in p.6.3.3.
Both, intake and exhaust air are taken and expelling outside the house (building). Air duct diameter of 125mm should be used.
The maximum allowable pressure drop of 60 Pa must be assured. In regards to this, precise air duct length must be calculated
as described bellow.
Carry out the installation of each air duct taking care that:
• The weight of such, does not adversely affect the equipment itself;
• Maintenance operations can be carried out;
• This is adequately protected so as to avoid the accidental intrusion of material inside the equipment itself;
• The maximum total allowable pressure drops for all components, including through holes for mounting on external wall, within the
pipe system must not exceed 60 Pa.
All Technical parameters shown in the table above, are guaranteed at air flow rate 235 m3/h at pressure 60
Pa. So Please keep the following rules:
1. Use air duct pipe system with diameter Ø125mm
2. Maximum length of both inlet and outlet straight pipes must not exceed 8 meters.
(Fig.23)
3. 1m straight pipe has pressure drop of ~3 Pa at 235 m3/h; PVC material; dry air T=7°C
4. Each elbow 90o has pressure drop of ~18 Pa at 235 m3/h; PVC material; dry air T=7°C
5. Elbow 45o has pressure drop of ~9 Pa at 235 m3/h; PVC material; dry air T=7°C
Examples:
• Three elbows 90
o
(3 x 18Pa = 54Pa) + four pieces 0.5m straight pipes (4 x 0.5m x 3Pa = 6Pa) = total 60Pa
• Two elbows 90
o
(2 x 18Pa = 36Pa) + two pieces 4m straight pipes (2 x 4m x 3Pa = 24Pa) = total 60Pa
(Fig.17)
During operation, the heat pump tends to lower the ambient temperature if the external air duct is not carried out.
In order to avoid the formation of condensate: insulate the air discharge pipes and the air duct cover connections
with steam-tight thermal cladding of an adequate thickness.
An appropriate protection grid must be installed in line with the discharge pipe conveying air to the outside with
the aim of avoiding foreign bodies from entering the equipment. In order to guarantee maximum device perfor-
mance, the grid chosen must ensure low pressure loss.
Exhaust air is a cold one and could be use to support cooling system in your house
WARNING!
In order to avoid short circulation of air between inlet / outlet, always use two elbows mounted in
opposite direction when non-ducted installation is done!

Both, intake and exhaust air are taken and expelling into the installation room. Minimum room volume of 20m3 must be observed. It
is obligatory to have an adequate room ventilation to the outside of the house! If these rules are not observed, the considerable drop
in appliance’s performance will happen!
Apart from the space indicated in paragraph 6.1, the heat pump requires adequate ventilation. It is necessary to create a dedicated
air duct as indicated in the illustration (Fig.13 to 19).
Moreover, it is important to ensure an adequate ventilation of the premises where the equipment is to be installed.
WARNING!:
For HP 3.2 150
•
It is strongly recommended using a floor support structure (Fig. 16d). This support is a separate order
