Test Limited Drive Speed 

39  Press down the foot switch. 
40  Raise the boom approximately 15° above 

horizontal. 

 

41  Slowly move the control handle to full drive 

position. 

  Result: The maximum achievable drive speed 

with the boom extended should not exceed 

0.73 ft/22 cm per second. 

42  Lower the boom to the stowed position. 
43  Extend the boom 18 inches/46 cm. 
44  Slowly move the control handle to full drive 

position. 

  Result: The maximum achievable drive speed 

with the boom extended should not exceed 

0.73 ft/22 cm per second. 
If the drive speed with the boom raised or 

extended exceeds 0.73 ft/22 cm per second, 

immediately tag and remove the machine from 

service.

(front to back). 

  Result: The machine should continue to drive. 

47  Return the machine to level ground and 

extend the boom approximately
