3.4 Resetting to factory defaults
The ENC-100 blade can easily be returned to its factory default values (IP 172.16.20.100).
In order to do this please power down the encoder chassis and remove the blade gently and
carefully from the chassis.
1. Hold the blade as shown below, with the video input pointing to the left.
Locate the green pin connector marked below.
Remove the red RS-232 jumper and place it on the left pair of the green pins.
2. Insert the ENC-100 blade gently into the chassis and turn the power on.
Wait for 2 minutes. Your encoder blade has been returned to its factory defaults.
3. To operate the ENC-100 again, power down the chassis and carefully remove the blade
once more. Return the red jumper to its original position, i.e. onto the left pin pair of the
black pin field. As shown in the photo above.
