SERVICE

28. Align all the rotor disk teeth.

29. Carefully insert the spline shaft into the rotor

disks, stator disks, and primary stator. Gently
tap around the circumference of the spline
shaft to seat the spline shaft into place after
it has passed through all the rotor disks and
stator disks. The top of the spline shaft must
be

ush with the top of the top rotor disk.

30. Torque the socket screws to 20.3- 24.4 Nm

18 ft. lbs.) to secure the rotor disks, stator

disks, and primary disk onto the spring plate.

31. Install a seal onto the spring plate.

32. Clean remaining sealant/debris/dirt from

the exposed surface of the cover plate still
installed on the front differential.

33. Install the parking brake assembly onto the

cover plate.
