8 .2 . Parental Control
Your receiver provides the facility to control access to programmes and menu settings
using a PIN function . This is useful, for example, to prevent children from being exposed
to unsuitable contents . Programmes you wish to block by means of a PIN code can be
blocked as described in Chapter 7 .1 .3 .
When calling up a programme that has been blocked, you must first enter a four-digit
number to be able to view the programme .
Under this point you can select those functions that can only be accessed once the PIN
code has been entered .

In the menu „User settings“, use the
arrow keys up/down
tp select the item
„Parental control” .

Enter the four-digit PIN code using the numeric keys of the remote control . The
factory default setting for the PIN code is 0000 .
All the settings in the following menu can be changed by marking it with the
arrow keys
up/down
, and making the changes using the
arrow keys left/right
.
