Line Power Configuration
The Spectrum PLUS
TM
Series
telephone does not require external
power. It uses line power from the
telephone company. Simply plug in
the line cord from the wall jack to
the back of the telephone.
Caution
•
Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
•
Never install telephone jacks in wet locations unless the jack is
specifically designed for wet locations.
•
Never touch uninstalled telephone wires or terminals unless the
telephone line has been disconnected at the network interface.
•
Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines.

Completing the Power
Installation
If the installation is correct, the
information shown at the right will
be displayed on the LCD.
If the LCD does not display words
and numbers, check your line cord
connections.
