The following options are available:
Option
Description
Carrier
Display the network operator of the SIM card, if has been inserted.
Data Connection
Turn this on to allow apps to use the mobile network when needed. Turn
this off to avoid incurring charges for data use on your mobile network,
particularly if you do not have a mobile data agreement.
Data Roaming
Turn data roaming on or off.
When abroad, this will allow the use of mobile data. Depending on your
subscription, this may incur additional charges.
APN Settings
Adjust various APN settings.
Wi-Fi
Turn Wi-Fi on or off and configure Wi-Fi options. For more info, see
22.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth allows your phone to exchange data (videos, images, music, etc.) with another Bluetooth
device (phone, computer, printer, headset, car kit, etc.) within a close range.
After you turn Bluetooth on, the following options are available:
Option
Description
Visible to All
Turn this on to allow your phone to be discovered by other nearby
Bluetooth devices.
My Phone’s Name
View or change your phone’s name as it appears to other Bluetooth
devices.
Nearby Devices
View the Bluetooth devices available for connecting.
To connect to a device, highlight it and press
OK
.
If the target device does not appear, press
the
right soft key
to scan
again.
Tip
: When you turn on Bluetooth, your phone will automatically reconnect
to all the previously paired devices within the range unless you manually
forget those devices.
Paired Devices
View the Bluetooth devices you have paired your phone with previously.
To disconnect or reconnect to a device in the list, highlight it and press
OK
.
To forget a previously paired device (remove it from list of paired devices),
highlight it and
press t
he
right soft key
.
Geolocation
Choose your phone’s location access options. For more info, see "28. GEOLOCATION" on page
SIM Manager
Set or change the PIN code for the installed micro-SIM card. For more info, see
8.
Calling
You can use this menu to set caller ID, call forwarding options, etc.
