18. FACEBOOK
You can use
to connect with your family, friends, and others around the world. You must
connect your phone to the internet to use Facebook on your phone.
To open
, press the left navigation key from the home screen, press the up navigation key

select Facebook, and press

. You may change the display language by hovering the cursor
over your preferred language and pressing

.

Creating a Facebook account
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can follow the steps below to create an account with
your phone:

On the Facebook home screen, press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Create New
Account
button and press
OK
. Press the
right soft key
to continue
.
2.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
First name
box and press
OK
. Enter your
first name. Press the
right soft key
to continue.
3.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Last name
box and press
OK
. Enter your
last name. Press the
right soft key
twice to continue.
4.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Mobile number
box and press
OK
. Enter
your phone number.
Press the
right soft key
twice to continue.
5.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Birthday
box and press
OK
. Press the
navigation keys to select your birthday and press
OK
. Press the
right soft key
to continue.
6.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over your gender and press
OK
.
7.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
New password
box and press
OK
. Enter
your desired password for the account.
Press the
right soft key
twice to continue.
8. Press the
right soft key
to sign up and let Facebook send a verification code to your phone
via SMS.
9.
To choose whether to let your phone remember your account password, press the navigation key
to hover the cursor over the
Not Now
or
OK
button and press
OK
.
10.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the box under "
Enter the 5-digit code
" and
press
OK
. Enter the
verification code you received
. Press the
right soft key
to continue.
11.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
OK
button and press
OK
to complete
creating your account.
Tip
: It is easier to first create an account for Facebook with a computer and then log in on your
phone.

Logging in to a Facebook account
If you already have a Facebook account, you can follow the steps below to log in to your account
with your phone:

On the Facebook home screen, press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Log In
button
and

OK
.

Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Mobile number or email
box and press
OK
.
Enter the mobile number or email you entered while creating your Facebook account. Press the
right soft key
to continue.
3.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Password
box and press
OK
. Enter the
password for your account. Press the
right soft key
to continue.
4.
Press the navigation key to hover the cursor over the
Log In
button and press
OK
.
