System Configuration and Installation
Step 1:
Plug an RJ-45 network cable into the socket on the switch’s rear panel. Afterwards, plug the
other end of the network cable into the socket on the
Eye
III+
transmitter 's rear panel.
Step 2:
Plug an RJ-45 network cable into the socket on the switch’s rear panel. Afterwards, plug the
other end of the network cable into the socket on the PC 's rear panel.
Step 3:
Plug the ADSL modem power cable into the power connector. At the same time, plug the
ADSL modem power supply into a wall let and power on the modem.
Step 4:
Plug one end of the
BNC
cable into the
VIDEO OUTPUT
of the
CCD
camera, then plug the
other end to the
Eye
III+
transmitter 's
VIDEO INPUT
connector (
CH1
preferred)
If more than one camera, plug the
BNC
cable to the
Eye
III+
transmitter
CH2
to
CH2/4/8/16
sequentially (For 2/4/8/16 Cam model only).
Step 5:
Connect alarm sensor to the corresponding pins of the
ALARM & SWITCH
port, if
necessary (For the pin assignment of the ALARM port, please refer to section 2,
Alarm
Definition
).
Step 6:
Plug the round end of the A.C. adaptor into the socket marked
$#%&'
on the
Eye
III+
transmitter. (Note: transmitter can support 9V D.C. to 12V D.C. supply voltage)
Step 7:
Plug the A.C. adapter to A.C. power source to power on the
Eye
III+
transmitter.
The
Eye
III+
transmitter 's LED on the front Panel and the LINK LED on the rear
panel should light up.
Step 8:
You may now use the
Eye
III+
Reception Software
to connect to the transmitter. For
the instructions of using the software, please refer to the
Eye
III+
Reception
Software
User Guide.
