Tracking
The HUB is equipped with a GSM tracking system that, in combination with
the TelecoHUB App, lets you receive an SMS message with a link to display
the area where your vehicle is currently located on Google Maps.
The advantage of using a GSM tracking system lies in the fact that - unlike
GPS tracking systems - signal coverage is normally ensured inside buildings
too (shelters, garages, etc.).
Tracking precision depends on GSM cell density where the vehicle is
currently located; consequently, it varies from area to area.
Note:
for vehicle tracking the Micro-SIM card installed in the HUB must allow
Internet browsing. Each tracking request generates about 200 transmission
bytes and 200 reception bytes of data traffic.
To receive an SMS with vehicle tracking open the Teleco HUB App
“Tracking” tab and press “send Request”
