Parameters

In the Jitter Generation window, you can set the following jitter parameters:

Setting

Description

Jitter Generation in Slot 
A CH1 (Jitter Mode)

Off: Turns off jitter generation.

All: Applies a jitter to the whole pattern of Channel 1 in Slot A.

Partial: Applies a jitter to part of the pattern of Channel 1 in Slot A. Using 
the combo box of the Partial By, select the channel to be used as the 
gating source. Partial pattern jitter is applied at a point where the logical 
channel you selected for the gating source is 1.

Profile

Select Sine, Square, Triangle, or Gaussian Noise for the profile of jitter.

Edge

Specifies the edge at which to apply the jitter. You can specify Rise, Fall, 
or Both.
Rise: Applies jitter only at the rising edge.
Fall: Applies jitter only at the falling edge.
Both: Applies jitter at each of the rising and falling edges.
