Set System Configuration to

Master/Slave#1

Master/Slave#1/Slave#2

pressing the

TAB

key and the up or down key, according to the number of

slave units to be connected.

Specify the slave units to be connected in the Slave Computer Name area. You
can specify a unit by entering the

Computer Name

(Name) or the

IP address

(IP address).

To specify the units with the names, select the

Computer Name

radio button,

press the

ALPHA

key to activate the text input mode, and enter the names in

the Slave #1 and Slave #2 combo boxes. You can also browse the Network
Computers by pressing the

Browse

button and specify the slave units from the

computers displayed.

To specify the slave units with the IP addresses, select the

IP Address

button

and enter the addresses using numeric keys.

When the setting is complete, select the

button and press the

ENTER

key

to exit the DTG5000 Configuration Utility.

The following message prompting you to restart the DTG software will be
displayed:
“Please restart DTG software.”

NOTE.

Do not restart the DTG software until you read “Master-Slave Operation

Procedure” beginning on page 1-115.
