Skew Calibration

DTG5078 & DTG5274 & DTG5334 Data Timing Generator User Manual 2

If the calibration does not completely succeed, the error message dialog box
appears.

Table 1-45 summarizes the functions of the message buttons inFigure 1-83 and
Figure 1-84.

Executes the calibration on all the channels of the currently installed output
modules.

The Status (Value) column lists the calibration times and coefficients. Check
that all the calibration times are in the 0 ps to 1.5 ns range.

Select the

Close

button. Then, press the

ENTER

key to terminate Skew

Calibration.

Returns to the calibration window. Use of this button clears the
calibration constants of the channels on which the calibration has
worked up to then; the initial calibration constants return.

Retry the calibration on the current channel.

Ignore

Proceeds with the next step/channel, ignoring the calibration on the
current channel.

CAUTION.

Powering off the DTG5000 Series during calibration may clear the

calibration data from memory.
