assembled.
Better
access
is
provided
by
partially
disas
sembling
the
unit
as
follows-.
1.
Unsolder
one
end
of
R332
and
R651
(see
Fig. 4-4
for
location).
2.
Remove
the
VARIABLE control
knob.
3.
Loosen
the
four clamps
which
hold
the
center
bulkhead
to
the
support
rods
(see Fig.
4-4).
4.
Remove
the
four
screws
which
hold
the
rear
plate
to
the
support
rods.
5. Hold
the front
panel
with
one
hand
and
slide
the
entire
assembly
to
the rear
as
far
as
the cabling
allows.
6.
Reverse
the
order
of
removal
to
reassemble
the
unit.
Guide
the
CAL
adjustment
extension
into
the
front-panel
bushing
while
pushing
the
unit
together.
Recalibration
After
Repair
After
any
electrical
component
has
been
replaced, the
calibration
of
that
particular
circuit
should
be
checked,
as
well
as
the
calibration
of
other
closely
related
circuits.
The
Performance Check
procedure
in
Section
5
provides a
quick
and
convenient
means
of
checking
instrument
operation.
