Elevated Reference Voltage
Elevated reference is a method of making a voltage measure
ment with respect to some reference voltage level rather than
to a zero reference. These measurements are made by con
necting the probe common clip or the COMMON jack directly
to the reference voltage, and then making unknown voltage
measurements by the procedures given earlier in this section.
