10. END INSTALLATION CHECKS AND START-UP
A fewsimple checks guarantee the correctoperation of thesystem:
Before switching on the condensingunit, make sure that:
•
Be adequately and firmlyfixed (ifmounted on brackets,check that the rubber
antivibrationmountings are wellfixedbetween the machine and the bracket).
•
The electrical connections, includingearthing, are carriedout in accordance with the national laws in
force.
•
The refrigeration lines are sealed (check all connections).
•
The hydraulic system is leak-proof and leak-free.
•
The supply voltagedoesnotdiffer from the ratedvalue. above ± 10%.
•
The coolantvalves are open.
•
The water circuittaps are open.
•
Check the electrical connections.
•
In multisplit models, carry out the test first with only oneevaporator turned on and then the next
one (in this way anywrong connections with the ventilatingunits are highlighted)
•
Make sure the water iscorrectlydrained from the drainused and thereis no back pressure.
•
Check the operating gas pressure by means of amonometric group to check the water supply
pressure.
First start-up cycle
When the unitis first powered up, itwillperform an initial start-up cycle.
The start-up cycleincludes first an alignment of the expansion valve (whereapplicable). Then a complete
opening and closing of the water flow control valve. Thisallowsany air in the unit to be purged.
The cycle takes approximately 2 minutes.
After thiscycle the unitis ready for operation.
CAUTION: In the event of a blackout or other power failure, the unitwillrun a start-up cycleagainwhen
power isrestored.
