1. Remove any packaging, stickers or accessories
inside and outside the appliance.
2. Remove the trays.
3. Place the grill plate on the heating element.
4. Place the appliance on the middle of the table, out of the reach of
children.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface: do not use
the appliance on a soft or unsteady base.
Never place the appliance directly onto a delicate surface (glass table,
cloth, varnished furniture...).
On first use, pour a little cooking oil on the non-stick grill plate and trays,
then wipe off any excess with an absorbant kitchen towel.

will not apply. Whatever your model, please read the instructions carefully
and keep them on hand.
For the Compact model:
Assemble the appliance by putting the removable base under the
part with the heating element and by placing the grill plate on the
heating element.
