INSTALLATION AND SETTING INSTRUCTIONS
- 34 -
WARNING!
It is forbidden to stop the equipment by disconnecting the main electric power, since the non
performance of the exchanger post-ventilation shall lead to thermal inertia and consequently to
the triggering of the safety thermostats which require manual release. Besides, repeated
operations might damage the equipment
CHECKS
In order to ensure that the machine works properly, some basic parameters should be checked. Activate the
machine and:
*
Ensure that the ventilating unit is immediately activated and they it permanently operates.
While the warm air heater is normally working (after approx. 20 minutes of uninterrupted working), perform
the following operations:
•
Ensure absence of fuel leak.
•
Check the meter to ensure correct fuel flow.
•
Check the fume temperature is compliant to the specifications
of the “TECHNICAL DATA” chapter with
5°C tolerance.
•
Ensure the correct calibration of the “LM” safety thermostat with manual reset
.
•
Ensure the correct calibration of the “TR” safety thermostat with automatic reset
.
•
Ensure that the LM and TR safety thermostats are operating normally.
•
Check that the thermal gradient is equal to the one specified in the chapter TECHNICAL DATA with ±2°K
tolerance.
•
Manually rotate the graduated disc of the safety thermostats LM and TR (in a way to simulate their
intervention) and make sure that the burner shall switch off.
•
Ensure that the burner maximum power calibration has stopped at nominal value, in order to avoid
overloading the thermo-regulator.
•
Ensure that the condensate drain system is operating correctly.
•
Ensure that the electric absorption value of the motor(s) does not exceed the design value
WARNING!
All the above mentioned checks are to be performed in all working conditions provided for (max and min).
