4.6.4 PnP Cover Re-Insertion
Align Pin 1 indicators on the tool and bolster plate assembly and then lower the PnP Cover removal
tool down onto the socket aligning the holes on the end of the bottom plate of the tool to the posts on
the Bolster plate.
Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to release PnP covers.
Remove the tool from the socket by lifting it straight up vertically.
Remove the Bolster Plate and Base Plate before rework.
Although the cover is designed
to allow removal without touching
contact,
please use caution
not to
touch socket contacts to prevent
damage
