ANALOG INPUT
Analog Input is for the 4-20 mA expansion communication boards used with the Tank Level Gauges, Differential
Pressure, Water and Density sensors.
None
Nothing is selected.
X1 Channel
Single channel only allows you to use 1 device with the TCS 3000, chosen from Level,
Differential Pressure, Water or Density.
-
Must choose the input:
-
Voltage (5 Vdc Capacity)
-
Current (4 - 20 mA)
X3 Universal Three channel allows you to use 3 devices with the TCS 3000, chosen from Level, Differential
Pressure, Water and Density.
-
Each channel input must be designated between Voltage and Current:
-
Voltage (5 Vdc Capacity)
-
Current (4 - 20 mA)
-
Reset to Default will change each channel back to Current and all values returned to zero (0).
NOTE: The X1 or X3 channel analog communication board are mounted within the TCS 3000 register.
X8 Channel
Eight channel allows you to use 8 devices with the TCS 3000 for Level, Pressure and Water.
-
Level Meters (1 - 6)
-
Voltage (5 Vdc Capacity)
-
Current (4 - 20 mA)
-
Pressure and Water (7 - 8)
-
Voltage (5 Vdc Capacity)
-
Current (4 - 20 mA)
NOTE: Externally mounted from the TCS 3000 register in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
LEVEL METERS
Select Level Meter - number available depends on the Analog Input board that is selected.
Measurement Unit
Chose from Gal, L, UKG, daL, dL, mL, m3, cm3, bbl, floz, ft3 or in3.
Linearization Type
External (0-100%) - Tank capacity percentage to volume level.
Quasi Linear - Currently Not Available
Polynomial - Currently Not Available
Calibration
View/Edit - Allows you to enter the percentage of product in the tank.
(% equivalent to tank volume, the more points entered the greater the accuracy)
New Calibration - Automatically senses the tank level, READ the instructions on the TCS 3000
Screen before you begin.
DP, H2O & DNS (Differential Pressure, Water & Density)
Select the Sensor Type for the
X1
channel board between Differential Pressure, Water or Density); or assign the
X3
channel (DP1, DP2 and DP3) to the Sensor Type (Differential Pressure, Water or Density).
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR
Allows you to program the maximum and minimum pressure of the vessel. If the pressure is too low or
too high the systems will shutdown.
View/Edit
1) Minimum Pressure Input
2) Minimum Output Current mA or Voltage Entry
3) Maximum Pressure Input
4) Maximum Output Current mA or Voltage Entry
NOTE:
Settings will be based on whether Current
(mA)
or Voltage was selected under Analog Input Settings
