Check the scraper blades for any signs of wear or
damage. If a scraper blade is nicked or worn, replace
both blades.
Figure 6-3
4.
If the blades are in good condition, place the rear
scraper blade over the rear holding pin on the beater.
Note:
The hole on the scraper blade must fit
securely over the pin to prevent damage.
Figure 6-4
5.
Holding the rear blade on the beater, slide the beater
halfway into the freezing cylinder. Install the front
scraper blade over the front holding pin. Slide the
beater assembly the rest of the way into the freezing
cylinder.

6. Make sure the beater assembly is in position over the
driveshaft. Turn the beater slightly to make sure the
beater is properly seated. When in position, the
beater will not protrude beyond the front of the
freezing cylinder.
7. Before assembling the freezer door, check the
following for any nicks, cracks, or signs of wear: door
bearing, door gasket, draw valve, O-rings, and all
sides of the door assembly, including the inside of the
draw valve bore. Replace any damaged parts.
8. Slide the two O-rings into the grooves on the draw
valve and lubricate.

and bottom, and insert the draw valve into the freezer
