Driving the mixer:
•
The mixer must be driven depending to the ground / road conditions.
•
Is forbidden to drive long distances with the silo cutter system up;
•
Keep a safe distance from ditches, waterways, slopes, etc., as the terrain
may cause the overturn of the mixer and the tractor.
•
It is recommended not to allow the access to the mixer and the mixer working
area to any person outside the establishment it operates;
•
When working with the mixer, the operator shall verify at all times that no one
is in the work area. Likewise, the operator must warn anybody next the work
area about the risks involved there.
•
During loading the mixer the driver should double check there is nobody
around the silage area. If loading is done through an authomatic system, the
driver will remain inside the trac
tor’s cabin at all times. If the loading is done
through auxiliary machinery, the access to the area must be forbidden.
•
Never exceed the load capacity of the mixer.
•
Observe the work area and terrain, watch out for holes, rocks or other
obstacles. Always inspect the area before the operation.
•
Avoid sudden starts and stops. Choose a uniform leveled route during
transportation through the fields.
•
Do not use the mixer near the edge of unleveled ground or terraces. Do not
operate on steep slopes. Operate from top to bottom and not perpendicular
to the slope.
•
Operate the vehicle at a safe speed. Slow down before turning to prevent
overturning. Avoid sharp turns on steep hills.
•
Always keep the vehicle running to allow engine-braking when going
downhill.

Avoid overhead , electric and telephone
wires or other obstacles. Contact with
overhead lines could cause serious injury
or death.
