Setting Fonts
Enabling Font Substitution
When printing using TrueType fonts, you can either substitute your fonts
with a device font or upload the font to the printer with the print job as a
Softfont. Using font substitutions, your jobs will print faster, while using
Softfonts ensures that your documents will look the same as they do on-
screen.
1. From the Printer Properties
window, click the Fonts tab.
2. Select Send TrueType fonts
to printer according to the
font Substitution Table .
3. In the Font Substitution Table
window, make the desired
changes.
4. Click OK to close the Font
Substitution Table window and
save changes.
5. Click OK .
