Routine Maintenance (Front Access)
To gain access to the note path at the front of the machine for maintenance, first
turn the power to the machine off. Now un-clip the left and right hand side latches
on the underside of stacker pocket 2 (Fig 1). Now pull the stacker assembly
slowly out towards you. It will rest on top of stacker pocket 1 (Fig 2).
You now have access to the note path, belts, sensors, diverter and rollers (Fig 3).
To clean, remove all excess dirt with a soft brush. Clean the rollers, belts with a
slightly damp cloth. You may use a small amount of liquid soap on the cloth.
Ensure all soap residue is removed from the rollers. Allow to dry thoroughly
before connecting the machine to the mains electrical supply.
Use the soft brush to make sure all sensors are clean.
To return the stacker assembly back into position, carefully lift it up and make
sure you locate the stacker assembly slots into the two posts on each side of the
machine. Then gently push it back in until you hear it click and lock into position
(Fig 2).
