SECURING THE MACHINE
After loading the machine at the specified position, secure it as described below.
Transporting posture
SECURING THE MACHINE
1. Lower the dozer blade.
2. Extend the bucket cylinder and arm
cylinder fully, and then lower the boom.
3. Raise the safety lock lever to the locked
position.
4. Stop the engine, remove the starter key
and lock all locks.
5. Place the stoppers (chocks) in front and
behind the crawlers.
6. Install a chain or wire rope over the lower
frame of the machine and fasten it
securely to prevent the machine from
slipping sideways.
7. Secure the bucket with a chain or wire
rope.
IMPORTANT: Place a wooden block under
the bucket to protect the floor from
damage caused by the bucket.
Precautions to be taken during
transportation
• Know and follow the applicable safety
rules, vehicle code and traffic laws
when transporting the machine.
• Select the best transport route by
considering the length, width, height
and weight of the truck with the
machine loaded on it.
• Never abruptly start or stop or run at a
high speed at the sharp curves during
transport. Doing so will move or lose the
balance of the loaded machine.
