7 System setup
Upon completion of wiring, the system environment (e.g., laser sources and computers) needs to be set, so
that the whole marking system can operate normally.
If you connect the computer for marking, connection setup is required, while direct use of the controller for
marking does not require connection setting.
There will be some differences in the interface between laser sources. This chapter also explains how to
modify the parameters and PLC for different laser sources to make the laser source function normally.
7.1 Connection setup
7.1.1 Controller setting
STEP1: Make sure the Internet cable is connected properly to the computer

F2 Set Kernel. Input the controller IP
and subnet mask, e.g., IP = 192.168.1.1, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
