Introduction
NOVANTA commitment to continuous improvement resulting in an even more reliable product with the
same high-performance standard for which the ti-Series™ is renown. NOVANTA introduces a high-
stability (HS) version of the ti-Series lasers (output power in the range of 60- 100W) with excellent
Caution: Possible Equipment Damage
Because of their smaller beam diameter, ti-Series lasers have significantly higher power densities than
other NOVANTA lasers. This means that any contaminants on the laser’s output coupler (or on any
beam delivery optic) can absorb enough energy to damage one or more optics in the beam path.
Any number of contaminants on the laser’s output window (or on any optic in the beam path) can
absorb enough energy to damage the optic.
Periodically inspect all beam delivery optics for signs of contaminants and carefully clean as required.
In dirty environments, purge laser optics using filtered air or nitrogen to prevent & purge vapor
and/or debris from accumulating on optical surfaces. Contact NOVANTA for recommendations.
