A lithium-ion battery pack will take
longer to recharge if the charging
process occurs below room
temperature.
The following table provides approximate times for
recharging fully depleted standard and extended-life
battery packs based on a charging temperature of
77 F

(25 C°).
*The charge times listed above are based on the capacity of the battery packs used at
the time of publication. In the future, higher capacity battery packs may be used.
Charging guidelines
Follow these basic guidelines when charging your
PTC-1800's battery pack.
• Recharge the battery pack in temperatures
32–113 F° (0–45 C°).
• Recharge the battery pack in an environment free
of dust, dirt, and high humidity.
• Use only a Symbol battery charger designed for
use with your PTC-1800's battery pack.
