Data application
Overview
Your organization has developed an application to
meet its data collection needs. This application allows
the PTC-1800 to collect, store, and transmit data to a
host device.
Using the application
Follow the instructions below to begin using the data
application. Consult the information provided by your
supervisor for details on your organization's data
application.
1. Press the Data key to activate your organization's
data application.
2. Use the PTC-1800 to enter, store, and transmit
data. See the “Entering data,” “Storing data,” and
“Communicating data” sections on the following
pages for information.
Entering data
Data may be entered into the PTC-1800 via the
following methods:
• Keyboard,
• Laser scanner,
• Internal radio (optional).
