Introduction
The CRD2700-4000E 4-slot Ethernet cradle enables up to 4 SPT
1700 or PPT 2700 terminals to simultaneously communicate with
their associated host computers connected to a network. Up to 4
terminals may be seated in the cradle. Additionally, up to 4
CRD1700-4000S serial cradles may be daisy-chained with this
unit, providing a total of 20 slots available for host
communications.
Theory of Operation
Palm HotSync Manager software supports one HotSync at a time
between a single terminal and a single PC. If the application
requires multiple devices to communicate simultaneously with a
single host, then synchronization server software such as Scout
MTS
TM
or AVANTGO
TM
is required. This software may be
purchased from Symbol. Contact your Symbol sales
representative for information.
