this CRD2700-4000E. See your network administrator for
assistance. If you are not using NAPT, you are asked to input
the Static addresses for the 4 slots and the expansion slot.
Note:
To configure the cradle for DHCP use, the static mode
setting must be ‘0’.
Note:
NAPT mode must be off for Active Sync to function.
9. Select option 3, and update the cradle IP address. If your
network uses a DHCP server, this IP address must be re-
served for this CRD2700-4000E. See your network adminis-
trator for assistance.
10. Select option 4, and update the Router IP address. This ad-
dress should be set to the IP address of your internet gate-
way.
11. Select option 5 and 6, and set the DNS IP addresses for
DNS1 and DNS 2.
12. Select option 7 and 8 to set the WINS addresses. This is re-
quired for Active Sync to function properly.
13. Select option 9, and enter the correct subnet mask for your
subnet.
Note:
When diagnostic mode is enabled (i.e., set to ‘1’), the
CRD2700-4000E’s expansion serial port does not
communicate with a CRD2700-1000S serial cradle. In-
stead, the CRD2700-4000E transmits diagnostic infor-
mation at 115,200 bps, 8N1, using the expansion port.
